Welcome to my new blog, and thanks for joining me.
Whether you work in the auto glass repair and replacement (AGRR) industry, influence the decisions of where your policyholders or customers go for their auto glass repairs or replacements, care about auto safety issues, or are a driver/consumer, my goal is to use this blog as a forum to talk about the many issues, current events, and future developments in the AGRR world. I’d like to reach out to all of you, and communicate together about the topics that you’d like to learn more about. So please feel free to comment, raise questions, and help to develop this blog into a community of like-minded readers and writers. I welcome your feedback and input.
I have spent the last 39+ years in the AGRR industry, and I’m passionate about what I do. You can check out my biography in the profile section of my blog to learn more about my background. You will see that I’m the President and Chief Executive Officer of one of the largest independently-owned AGRR companies in the country. I am also on the Board of Directors of AGRSS®, Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards Council, and also hold the position of Vice President with this non-profit automotive safety group. I am honored to work with all of the great people associated with my company, and the many hard working volunteers of AGRSS®. My experiences over the past 39 years have certainly helped to shape who I am.
Since 1972, I’ve been both an employee and business owner in the AGRR industry, and I think that at some point in time over those 39 years, I’ve done just about every job that there is to do in the industry.
I strongly believe that I have had the great fortune to have worked with many of the best people in our industry over the years, both in the United Statesas well as in other countries. I am lucky today to be working at what I believe to be the best AGRR Company in theUnited Statesas I am working with an incredible group of people.
It is my hope that through this blog, I can introduce you to a few people who you may or may not know, but people who make a difference in our industry. I’d like to let them tell you a little something about themselves, what that they do, and how they affect the people around them to truly make a difference.
I’ll be working on some upcoming blogs, and in the meantime, please feel free to get our comment threads going to open up some dialogue.
